Palit

Palit is located not far from the city of Rab, right across the forested Frkanj peninsula. As the youngest place on the island, Palit is a great choice for sunny holidays by the sea. It is closest to the beaches of Škver and Frkanj, which are equally popular among locals and tourists.

If you are a fan of nudism, you will be thrilled by the fact that Palit is right next to the oldest nude beach on the Adriatic coast, located in the bay of Kandarola on the Frkanj peninsula. In 1936, King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson received permission from local authorities to take a swim naked there. The rest is history.
